Our Story
After graduating from college,
Kerry S. Wiggins Sr. and Britt Henderson returned to their hometown of Sanford, FL with the desire to give back to the community. Clifford Martin joined forces with Wiggins and Henderson in 2006, and Unity Youth Association was formed. Angela Wiggins later joined in 2008. What started off as a football camp to inspire youngsters, has transformed into a bigger vision to inspire, educate, prepare and support the youth and community of Sanford.

Our Mission
The Unity Youth Association (UYA) is designed and dedicated to inspire and enable youth to realize their full potential and to uplift the community we serve.
This organization gives youth and adults the opportunity and ability to believe in themselves through a variety of programs and events. We offer mentoring, basic fundamentals of sports and camps, one-on-one contact with professional college players from past to present, and positive community events.

Although our main focus is developing youth that are underprivileged and less fortunate situations, our arms will always extend to any youth or young adult that is seeking to live a healthier, prosperous and productive life so that they will become productive citizens.

UYA is committed to youth and teaching important educational tips and life skills. Most of all, we give you and the community we serve the opportunity to have fun and work together in UNITY.
